the brief
According to the New Jersey State Council on the Arts, “art and artmaking are central to what makes a vibrant, democratic society, and artists are the driving force of that value.”
As one of the Council’s cornerstone programs, the annual Artist Fellowship puts that belief into action, supporting New Jersey artists as they pursue their creative goals and advance their careers. In addition to receiving a grant, fellows are celebrated through a printed catalog highlighting their work.
the solution
We designed the 2026 Artist Fellowship Catalog to proudly and distinctly showcase the 99 artists selected, spanning six disciplines and 19 counties across the Garden State.
From the very first look, the work takes center stage. The cover brings together vibrant pieces in a bold, vertical composition, setting the tone for a catalog designed to celebrate the range and individuality and of this year’s fellows.
