When the Foundation for Morristown Medical Center set out to reimagine its donor recognition program, the goal was clear: evolve the experience to be more approachable, more impactful, and more aligned with Morristown Medical Center's stature as a leader in healthcare. With a legacy of generosity fueling breakthrough care, the Foundation recognized it was time for a more modern, inclusive, and engaging framework.
the solution
Our approach began with an in-depth research phase in collaboration with Sobel Bixel, benchmarking peer and aspirational medical centers across the country. We evaluated a wide range of donor programs and recognition strategies, looking closely at both structure and language, while also considering demographic context and motivations. The insights pointed to an opportunity: build a more accessible, streamlined donor experience without sacrificing the depth of impact or personal connection that donors value most.



The result is The Giving Society at Morristown Medical Center — a thoughtfully restructured and renamed program that feels warm, current, and deeply personal.
Names like Impact Leaders and Partners in Health honor the contributions of the community while clearly articulating levels of engagement. Visual and verbal identity updates carry through to every touchpoint, including a donor welcome packet and educational materials.
The Giving Society now serves as a cornerstone of the Foundation’s efforts — not just a recognition program, but a powerful platform for connection. It’s a rebrand built on trust, driven by strategy, and designed to inspire continued giving for years to come.
